Trouville, France – Bouncy Fun on the Beach

We went to a beach town called Trouville. It was a tiny town, so we could explore it in one day. When we got down to the beach, one of the first things I saw was a big bungee trampoline jump. Of course I wanted to go on it at first sight! By the time we got to the bungee, the man was packing up and said to come around tomorrow at 10am. I was really bummed that we couldn’t do it the first day. This picture is from the next day. That kid in the photo looked like he was having fun, but I knew I’d have even more fun. And I did, and I had an awesome time, because instead of 6 minutes, the guy gave me 12 minutes, and at the end he raised me super-high, so I could do triple flips instead of double flips.

The Kid is adventurous and has no fear, so I knew they’d want to go on this bungee trampoline thing, which was next to a camp and playground on the beach. The Kid also does gymnastics, so when they realized that they could do more than just jump, they went for it, and did flip after flip. The other parents were flabbergasted because The Kid looks younger than they are, and doing tricks the older kids weren’t willing to try. The Kid also wants to be an astronaut someday, so I guess this is good training. This was one of the last photos I took during their turn, and the one that really captured how much joy they were having, almost weightless in space.
