About us
What do kids see when we take them traveling or go on family adventures? Grown-ups try to show kids what they think is important, but sometimes kids notice things the grown-ups miss. And seeing what kids see allows grown-ups to have an even richer experience. That’s what Kid-See is all about – looking through each other’s eyes. Kid-See will showcase our trips abroad and our adventures back home by showing & telling stories side by side.
The Kid
The Kid lives in NYC, and loves traveling. (At age two, after their first airplane ride, their announced that they wanted to visit China by theirselves.) When they grow up they want to be an astronaut, a gymnast, and a master Lego builder. They also love cheetahs.
The Dad
The Dad is Alden Gewirtz, a New York City based photo editor and photographer who has worked at a variety of magazines, travel publications, and stock photo agencies. Curious about the world, and always with some kind of camera in hand, he likes sharing his experiences with others, which led him to developing this blog.
